These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Sweet William website. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

ORDERS

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This acknowledgement does not mean that your order has been accepted.

Acceptance of your order takes place when your order has been dispatched. At this point a contract is formed between you and Sweet William Ltd.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before dispatch, for example if an item is unavailable, there has been an error in the price or product information, or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. If payment has already been taken, you will receive a full refund.

Please check the details of your order carefully before submitting it. If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to help.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take great care to ensure that our product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and other information are as accurate as possible.

Colours may vary slightly from those shown on screen due to differences in displays and device settings. As many of our products are handmade or produced in small batches, there may also be minor variations between individual items.

PRICES & PAYMENT

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Delivery charges are shown separately and will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must be authorised before your order can be processed.

We take reasonable care to ensure prices shown on our website are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option of continuing at the correct price or cancelling your order for a full refund.

DELIVERY

We aim to dispatch orders promptly and estimated delivery times are provided on our Delivery page and, where applicable, at checkout.

Occasionally deliveries may be delayed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control. If there is a significant delay, please contact us and we will do our best to help.

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

We hope you will be delighted with your order, but if you change your mind you may have the right to cancel and return your purchase in accordance with UK consumer law.

Certain items, including products that have been personalised or made to your specification, cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

Please check all names, wording, dates, telephone numbers and other personalisation details carefully before submitting your order.

Personalised products are created using the information supplied by you, and we cannot accept responsibility for errors in personalisation where the information has been entered incorrectly by the customer.

Once production of a personalised item has begun, it may not be possible to change or cancel the order.

PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional and discount codes are subject to their individual terms and availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.

Unless otherwise stated, only one promotional code may be used per order and discounts apply to the order subtotal before delivery charges.

Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

AVAILABILITY

All products are subject to availability.

We make every effort to keep stock information up to date, but occasionally an item may become unavailable after an order has been placed. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer an alternative where appropriate or issue a refund.

WEBSITE CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website, including our designs, illustrations, photographs, text, logos and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Sweet William Ltd and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

LIABILITY

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time you place your order will apply to that order.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will also retain any protections and rights available to you under the laws applicable where you live.
